No Plan management is funded by the NDIS as a separate line in a participant's plan, so it doesn't come out of the funding for their supports. There's no cost to you as a support coordinator, and no cost to the participant.

Yes. Kismet plan management operates separately from Kismet's marketplace. Participants choose any provider they want, registered or unregistered, whether or not that provider is listed on the Kismet marketplace. We never require a participant to use a Kismet-listed provider, and our plan managers are not incentivised by where funding goes.

Invoices submitted with NDIA compliant information are generally paid within 2 to 3 business days. Every invoice carries a processing status and a history log, so you can check where one is up to at any time without contacting us.

The participant or their nominee needs to add you as a contact with funding access. If you're completing the registration form, you can request access at the same time and we'll confirm it with them during onboarding. Access takes effect as soon as the plan is active.

Yes. Every invoice goes out for approval before payment, so it can be reviewed and either approved or rejected first. Approvals arrive by SMS or in the portal, and most are cleared the same day.

Kismet sends alerts to the participant and to anyone granted funding access, so a budget running low never arrives as a surprise. Forecasting in the app and web portal shows how much is left to spend each week, so you and the participant can adjust supports before the funding runs short.
