The Kismet app also shows invoices that have arrived but haven't been claimed yet, so your balance reflects what you've actually committed rather than what's been processed. You can also approve invoices, claim reimbursements and check how much you have to spend each week from the Kismet app.

Usually because of claims that haven't gone through yet. There's often a gap between a service being delivered and the provider's invoice being claimed, so the NDIS portal can show more available funding than you really have. The Kismet app counts invoices as soon as they arrive, so your balance reflects what's already committed.

Your budgets update as invoices are processed in real-time, so the app reflects your current position each time you sign in.

Yes. Upload or take a photo of your receipt in the app and we'll process the claim. You don't need to fill in a form or email anything.

Yes. A nominee or family member you've given access to can view your budgets and approve invoices on your behalf. You decide who has access and can change it at any time. You can grant access to these contacts when you first sign up or at any time by contacting your plan manager.

The Kismet app is for participants who are plan managed with Kismet. If you're self-managed or agency managed, you can switch to plan management at any point in your plan, and we'll guide you through it. However, you can still download the app to find a provider or an event near you.

Your personal information is stored on servers in Australia. Personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and Kismet holds SOC 2 Type II certification, independently audited against the security criteria.
