After a very very rough start due to the ndis changing there Portal to many times so users just found it impossible to navigate, i reached out to Uniting for urgent assistance. Then the ball started rolling fast. I was swapmed then by NDIS services who wanted me to sign up with them. But Uniting filled my every request .Due to the short time span of me seeing doctors United were always able to still provide me with a person to assist me. i strongly feel Uniting go way above any other ndis provider in finding me the assistance i require. This puts my mind at ease knowing they are there for me.I highly recomend Uniting for anyone looking for a NDIS PROVIDER to assist them.

After many years of struggling to get our needs heard or met within the system, it's wonderful to have case management who listen, who are astute & intelligent & have great common sense. I'm incredibly grateful to have found good support, especially at this time of transitioning into the NDIS. We had support in the planning meeting & also now in the follow up, which is daunting, confusing & overwhelming for everyone it seems!

Very pleased with the support I receive particularly in finding a place to live. My support workers are very kind to me. I hope that they can keep working with me.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
