Bio: Tess' career has covered multiple facets of the Australian and international healthcare sector. She has worked with the World Health Organisation in Geneva; in health policy in Singapore; with a Federal Australian Senator; and as a management consultant in Sydney, specialising in health and human services.
She was the Founder of Patient Connector, a healthtech startup connecting patients with specialist doctors, giving patients more choice over their health care. After Medinet acquired Patient Connector, she became CEO of Medinet, a virtual healthcare platform supporting primary healthcare, which Medibank acquired in 2025. Tess is currently the Chief Operating Officer of UnitingCare Hospitals in QLD, and previously worked across St Vincent's Health Australia's ten private hospitals in NSW, VIC and QLD.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Hons), a Masters in Health Leadership and Management (with Excellence) and is a Graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
