
Bio: Mary Ingerton has over 30 years' experience across the disability, government, health, and community sectors and is the Managing Director of Support Coordination Academy and a Director of Support Coordination Software. Mary designs and delivers best-practice training, coaching, and professional development programs for Support Coordinators, with a strong focus on managing complexity, assessing, and responding to risk, navigating the NDIS, and strengthening evidence-based practice. Her experience includes senior leadership roles within community organisations, government disability services, and specialist health services, including as a Senior Social Worker with the Queensland Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability and Autism Health.
Throughout her career, Mary has led statewide reform initiatives, managed complex case coordination teams supporting individuals and families experiencing significant vulnerability and risk and delivered NDIS pathway training for agency staff. Her training is recognised for its practical application, sector relevance, and reflective practice approach, equipping Support Coordinators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to navigate complex situations, exercise sound professional judgement, and achieve positive outcomes for participants.
